I just finished The Hunter by Richard Stark. This is the first Parker novel and what a great ride it was. Parker gets out of jail with nothing but revenge on his mind. He's an emotionless thug with payback on his mind. He storms in and climbs up the ladder wrecking the organization to get his money back. Like a freight train he doesn't stop until he get what he wants. I had a good time following Parker as he beat down bad guys all over town.
